The following are unsubstantiated spoilers the months of May (Which includes Sweeps)/June/(And Early) July.

-Lindsay Morgan appears as NUKristina Corinthos-Davis on May 21st. She comes home after dropping out of Yale when she finds out what are parents did. 
-Kristina meets Michael's new friend Starr and the claws come out: Kristina will become the wild child Alexis never dreamed of...

News: Confirmed. Lindsey Morgan to the Role of Kristina Corinthos

TVLine is reporting that "General Hospital" has recast the role of Kristina Adela Corinthos Davis, previously played by Lexi Ainsworth, who left in October.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis' (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter will now be played by Lindsey Morgan, who has previously had roles on "Happy Endings" and "How I Met Your Mother." She will make her debut in Port Charles on May 22.

Morgan confirmed the announcement on her Twitter page today. "I finally get to talk about it! Officially playing Kristina on General Hospital! Ahhhh!"

Lexi Ainsworth (ex-Kristina) took to Twitter in regards to the recast and stated, "Thank you guys for all your support but I won't be reprising the role of Kristina. I loved her but I've also loved being free to do film. I enjoyed meeting Frank & I know you will love the new Kristina that he has found. I learned so much from my 'GH' home & want to grow further."

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) also sounded off and tweeted, "Lexi's already got offers for many Primetime projects. She didn't want to sign contract & Kristina contract role. IMO she made the right decision."

A model by the name of April Gutierrez was brought up on the GH board as already having snagged the recast.

Get a load of the centerfold shots. She’s definetely going to compete with KelMo (Sam) for the hot factor, and not much else. Maybe this is why Monaco’s rumored on the way out (her idea). There can only be one sex bunny on the show?!

News: RE Lexi Ainsworth's Exit

Did you catch the last two episodes where Kristina was leaving for Yale?

When those scenes were played all the actors knew ahead of time she was let go and those tears were real tears of sadness. Lexi was completely kept in the dark as were some other actors about her dismissal. 

Apparently Lexi was deliberately told one thing, even so far as being given a 'soft' breakdown in advance of what would be playing out for her. 

Lexi's recast should be appearing around the New Year so we hear.

News: Kimberly McCullough Speaks Out

Former soap child star-turned leading lady Kimberly McCullough (Robin) is calling a flag on the play in regards to General Hospital's decision to fire Daytime Emmy nominee Lexi Ainsworth in order to SORAS the character of Kristina Corinthos. Here's some of what McCullough had to say about GH allegedly claiming Ainsworth was too young to continue in the role, from the Nov. 1 issue of SOD. 

 "That's baloney, because the same thing happened to me," she shares. "Young is a nice way of saying you're not sexy enough. This has nothing to do with being young. I completely relate because I faced the same problem. "
