Spoilers/News: Month of February and March Pt. 2

News:
We now know that Kristen Alderson was offered, and accepted, a three year contract with GH - even though we all know that the standard is 13 weeks. It has also being said that Michael Easton was offered the same contract. No word yet on whether it was accepted. He is currently rumoured to be staying a minimum of 6 months.

Regarding Lulu, please do not fret! Addiction and metal illness are not the only family legacy that she will be reminded of. When ancient ties and feuds are resurrected, Lulu will also remeber that crime-fighting, ass-kicking and saving the world are also part of it.

News: Dirty Soap is No Longer!

For weeks we have waited with baited breath to see if our new guilty pleasure Dirty Soap would be picked up for a secong season. Alas we can now release a breath of discontent.

Yesterday Jenna Gering announced via Twitter that the show would not return for a second season. Gering, wife of Days of Our Lives' Galen Gering tweeted:

News: One More OLTLer

Van Hughes is set to reprise the role of "Cole Thornhart" to bring Kristen Alderson's "Starr Manning" to the Port Charles canvas. 

On OLTL Cole was considered dead but brought back by Todd to guard Starr. Alderson will make her GH debut the week of February 20. 

This is likely a very brief stay but no further info is available.

Appearence: Chad Duell And Dominic Zamprogna Fan Event

Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Chad Duell (Michael) are appearing together at Uncle Vinnie's in New Jersey on February 19. Fans can select from two different ways to hang out with the onscreen brothers.

At 10.00 AM, Zamprogna and Duell will participate in a Q&A and meet & greet. Tickets are $75.00.
Or.
At 1.00 PM, fans can hang out with the men and get autographs while enjoying a buffet lunch. This event is BYOB. Tickets are $85.00.

Spoilers/News: Month of Febraury and March

Now that RC and FV have officially taken over the reigns, many are wondering what will happen, and mainly they are questioning the future of general hospital. Anyone who tells you that RC and FV are not trying to save GH are receiving the wrong information. They really want the last remaining soap to remain on ABC. It is being speculated that the past may bump into the future a la Dallas.

Maurice is very excited about where they are taking his character and he even tweeted that "Frank Valentini is the Jim Harbaugh (the head coach for the San Francisco 49ers ) of daytime. He is kicking ass"

Many are understandably a bit skittish about the arrival of the OLTLers, but RC promises that after their departure, your favourite soap will go in a direction you won't see coming. A fire will break out at the hospital

News: A Valentine To Remember.

It will be a Valentine's Day to remember as SOAPnet celebrates the February holiday with a GENERAL HOSPITAL marathon featuring beloved couple Robin and Patrick in four special one-hour episodes from the multi-award winning ABC Daytime drama.

The marathon airs Sunday, February 12, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., ET/PT.

The following episodes will air (all times Eastern and Pacific):

3:00 p.m. -- Episode 11170 - A determined Patrick shows up outside of Robin's window and declares his love. She finally succumbs and admits she loves him too. Original airdate: November 7, 2006.

4:00 p.m. - Episode 11677 - Robin and Patrick's daughter, Emma, is born and they introduce her to the family. Original airdate: November 4, 2008.

Spoilers: What to Expect With The Mannings in PC

The story behind the Mannings return has many different scenarios. Here are some of the spoilers/rumours that have been told. Only time will tell if they will come into fruitation.

Todd needs some medical care.
Carly and Blair become frenemies? 
Tomas shows up everyone wants him dead but Sonny sees him as Alcazar. 
This sets up a Blair/Carly explosion, Tracy may play with Todd Manning but only in the business sense.
The Who Killed Victor Lord saga is closed at the same time as the Cassandra ("Lady in White") and Ethan/Cassadine subplot on GH. 

News: Jen Lilley Stays as Maxie Jones...For Now!

Kirsten Storms, who was set to return to the role of GH's Maxie at the end of this month, will not be back as planned. The actress has been on medical leave since September.

According to a statement from a GH rep,

“Kirsten Storms will not be able to return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as soon as originally hoped and announced. Jen Lilley will continue to play Maxie Jones for the foreseeable future.”

News: Could GH Be Headed to Primetime

Now that “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” are gone and Katie Couric’s talk show is gearing up to hit Daytime in the fall, worries about the fate of ABC’s last soap are high.  

TV Guide Magazine is now reporting that one of the ideas the network is floating to keep “General Hospital” alive would be to put it on Primetime. The series would run as a short summer series, like a telenovela.

Appearence: Lexi Ainsworth on Criminal Minds

Lexi Ainsworth is excited to announce she will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the CBS drama “Criminal Minds.”

“Booked Criminal Minds! Table read tomorrow, photoshoot on Friday and film on Monday. This is gonna be a good year ”

No air date has been announced. Criminal Minds airs on CBS on Wednesdays and 9 PM EST.

If you want to see another side to "General Hospital's" new doc Ewen, you can check out his portrayer, Nathin Butler, live on stage with his band The Sugar. The band's latest gig will see them at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, CA on January 28.

According to The Sugar's Twitter feed, there will be a fan signing after the show. The Viper Room is located at 8852 Sunset Blvd. The show starts at 10.00 PM

The weekend will begin with THE Annual GHFCW Cocktail Kick Off Event on Thursday evening July 19, 2012 continuing with THE Annual GHFCW Main Cast Event on Saturday July 21, 2012.
Tickets will go on sale for both events on January 21, 2012.

News: Emma Samms Returns as Holly

Not only are Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) returning to Port Charles, but so is Ethan's (Nathan Parsons) mama and Luke (Anthony Geary) and Robert's former love Holly Sutton. TVLine reports that Emma Samms will return in the role she has played on and off since 1982 in February to help Luke and Ethan deal with Helena.

News: OLTL To GH!

So for a while now, I knew that some OLTLers were coming to PC. Didn't know who they were exactly till a few weeks ago.

Earlier today Soap Opera Digest confirmed that new Executive Producer Frank Valentini had announced he'd be bringing some familiar, Emmy-winning faces from Llanview to Port Charles! OLTL alums Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Roger Howarth (Todd), Kristen Alderson (Starr) and Michael Easton (John) are set to reprise their beloved roles on GH and will report to the set later this month."

Spoilers: Long-Term Spoilers for the Month of Jan/Feb

I told you months ago that you had not seen the last of Alcazar. Who he's connected to may shock many fans out there.

Kristen Storms returns as Maxie and another return will leave tongues wagging. This person is still alive and ready to take their revenge. Look for a reunion that will split two fan bases down the middle (one of the actors involved is not thrilled with this one even remotely).

One major long time actress may be shown the door for storyline reasons. Wrapping things up is not an easy job. Cutting down on a great deal to keep the core only (with guests coming left and right).

News: SOAPnet's Demise

It is official. According to TV Guide Magazine, SOAPnet will leave cable and satellite systems on March 23 and will be replaced by Disney Junior March 23. As previously reported last year, Mickey Mouse made the decision to axe the soap channel in favor of a 24/7 preschool channel. According to Disney Channels Worldwide president and CEO Gary Marsh:

This marks the beginning of a sea change in the 'preschool plus' television landscape. The response to our Disney Junior programming block has been extremely positive.

I guess they haven't talked to soap fans. This news comes during the same week One Life to Live finally takes a bow after being on air for 43 years.

News: Tristan Rogers Returns

Grab your decoder rings, because Scorpio is back! TVLine's suds-loving scoopster Matt Mitovich just broke the news that Tristan Rogers will return to the General Hospital airwaves, as superspy Robert Scorpio in February.

With Kimberly McCullough, who plays Robert's daughter Robin, leaving the series, and Finola Hughes on her way back as mama Anna Devane, it's pretty safe to say Robert and Anna are coming back to help usher their kid off the canvas, however buzz is Robin's 'rents could be sticking around!

News: Kristen Storm's Return

Soap Opera Digest has learned that GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kirsten Storms will return to Port Charles as Maxie at the end of this month and will begin airing in late February.

"We are thrilled that Kirsten will be back to work in just a few short weeks," notes a show spokesperson. "And we thank Jen Lilley for the wonderful job she did in Kirsten's absence."

Lilley will continue taping for the next several weeks. Storms has been on medical leave since September.

Appearence: Andrea Bogart's New Movie

Andrea Bogart (ex-Abby) is featured in the upcoming movie, “Life’s An Itch.” The movie follows Roger (Rossi Morreale, “Dating in the Dark”) and Jen (Bogart), who have been married for seven years with two children. When she heads off on a vacation with her mom (Kathleen Quinlan, “The Event”) and the kids, Roger is left alone with a sexy yoga instructor staying in the guest cottage.

News: James Franco Adds To His Resume

Actor, writer, director and performance artist James Franco (Franco) continues to expand his career in more new directions. He has just signed with Amazon to publish his first novel.

According to the New York Observer, the book will be called, “Actors Anonymous” and is rumored to be based on Franco’s own career. Previously, Franco has also written and published a collection of short stories, “Palo Alto.”

The release date for the book has not yet been announced.

Appearence: Rick Springfield is Hot In Cleveland

According to TV Guide Magazine, Rick Springfield (ex-Noah/Eli) will be joining the growing list of guest stars, which includes Susan Lucci, on Hot in Cleveland. In the episode, Rick relocates to Cleveland for some peace and quiet and sets his sights on Joy, played by Jane Leeves. While he tells people his name is Tom, he eventually confesses his true identity to Joy, who is ecstatic, until she discovers some of his bad habits.

"Hot in Cleveland" airs on TV Land on Wednesday nights at 10.00 PM EST. Springfield's official airdate has yet to be announced.

Video: Jasam Breathe

 I created this video for two reasons: First to show how in one moment lives can be changed for ever, and second to prove once again how much of an amazing couple Sam and Jason are. On their honeymoon they endured one of the worst possible tragedy that could happend to a couple; for a while they were shattered. They fought, bickered, and almost lost one another. But through it all they came out stronger because they believed in their love for one another. And this is what I want to you get out of this video. I really hope you enjoy it.

News: Want To Live In Liz's House??

Well if you have $2.2 million laying around, you can!! Accourding to the LA Block Shopper Rebecca Herbst is selling her six-bedroom, seven-bath home at 3950 Prado De Verde in Calabasas for $2.2 million.

Herbst paid $2.18 million for the property back in November 2006. The 4,851-square-foot house was built in 2006 in West Calabasas.
